Introduction to 2021 Blog.

For the past year I have posted photos everyday on Facebook.  People have been very encouraging, very attentive and very appreciative.  I want to continue the process, but not on FB directly.  So I am going to keep this daily blog this year and post my photos on it.  I will make it available on FB, but not saved on it.  I hope that all of you who look daily will link onto my blog and continue following my photographed days.  This will also allow me to post more of my poems.  

Today's ride was short and simple.  I drove to the river and got out and walked a tiny bit.  The water had receded back to normal, but the amount of debris was fascinating.  Trees and trees hung up on the little dam under the foot bridge.    

You could see how high the water was.  Christmas Day the road was flooded and it remained closed until today.  The parking lot was open.   

It was above freezing and the water was running fast.   I still looked for the green heron, lol. 

Made me miss the summer, actually the summer of 2019 when kids were playing in the sand and inventing new worlds for themselves.  Observing play is one of my biggest delights.
