Day 26
January 26, 2021
Real Snow

This post is primarily photos.  I seemed to lacking in anything interesting to say.  Not sure why, just kind of blank.  My day was nice.  I enjoyed it, I felt blessed most of it and I saw a couple of smiling friends on my ride today.  I noticed some interesting details in the landscape and I enjoyed some pretty birds, but I don't have any words of wisdom or curiosity.

The rookery was 28 degrees at 11 this morning and it was cloudy, a storm was approaching.  There were no birds.

This picture shows a tree that  must be the home of hundreds.  It's really phenomenal.  You have to look at the lace work the woodpeckers have created.

The storm was palatable, you could feel it, I knew it was just over the NY border.  Our birds were actively collecting food.  I saw a Junco, Blue Jay, Cardinal, Blue Bird, Finch, Goldfinch, and several others.  I didn't see any big birds this morning, but the smaller birds were abundant.

By 4 the snow was thick and falling in a heavy sheet.  All those little guys were in their shelters.  So am I.   I am warm in my living room listening to music on Youtube.  I have to learn how to post the links of such things.  I have to relearn how to do a lot on Blogger.  I seem to have a hole in my head these days.  I forget stuff rapidly.
