Day 5

Blogger asks you "What is the question?"  I guess what they mean by that is what questions motivate your Blog.  I've been thinking about that all day.  I guess I really didn't start the year off with a specific question, and unlike other years I don't even have a theme.  I'm thinking that a theme will arise as I develop it, though.  

My idea was just to continue to shoot daily and post those photos, but as I've said, this format allows for more than that.  It allows one to develop themes or talk about photography.  I can show the beauty, I can talk about the hardships.  I can share joys or curiosities.  What is my driving question?  What drives me?  

I really am driven by people, by my relationships with them, and being witness to their relationships with others.  I am fed by small smiles that happen during the day.  I had several of them today.  And when I just thought I just am too tired of pain to stay awake any longer, I saw a photo of an owl a friend of mine took in his yard and it refocused me towards my goals, towards finishing up my Herons in the time of Covid Project; Voices From The Rookery.  

I'm also asking friends to let me link their blogs to mine.  I'm playing with the design of this and adding links.  I also am going to create a store to sell my photos.  Does anyone have suggestions on the best way to do that?  Should I create an Etxy shop and link it to the blog?  Let me know what you think.
