mid February seems to be snowy a lot.

I didn't go out at all today.  The snow never got heavy or out of hand, but it was constant.  I just couldn't motivate myself to leave my home.  But I was really needing color in my life.   I was desperately looking for some subjects for still life to fill the need for color. 

There are a few post Christmas treasures that I didn't put out this year.  I usually decorate my Pine tree in my bedroom with these little bulbs.  His name is Piney.  

The truth is that my plants are the most lively things in my house during the winter.  

Along about five I stepped out onto the porch.  

Let's hope tomorrow inspires me a little more.  Please...

I may not have been inspired today, but EJ definitely was.  They did this snow sculpture this evening.  I love it so I am sharing it.

I also did my first "They" interview tonight and it will be posted tomorrow.  Very glad I'm doing it.
