Day 87
March 28, 2021
This photo could have been taken today, but it was taken a year ago. We are about to trip into April showers.
I received a letter from EJ yesterday. How wonderful it was to open up an envelope with my name on it and pull out a thick pile of lined three ringed binder paper. It was a long letter that gave me a real sense of their day. They also created a crypto gram poem specifically for me to decode. Here it is, you can feel they're studying Greek literature.
The thought of chaos pulls
tears to my eyes and the
thought of chaos restrained
to order
cleaves my heart in two
as if equilibrium bore its inevitable blade-
double edged and
balanced
at the hilt, through the
fragile chambers there.
EJ Worth
3/22/21
This is a block from a new strip of Free Radicals by, EJ Worth. They shared a lot with us today. It was great. It was rainy and chilly and Diane came over to see the pictures for my up coming show and EJ joined us on messenger for a while and shared some of their work. The three of us haven't hung out in 2 and 1/2 months, that's a first. This going away to college and starting one's life thing is pretty hard on the adults. Although I am sure that when I went off, finally, my Mom probably threw a party. But we miss them.
And I shared my prints with Diane and got to talk about hanging it. It's going to be so nice, I'm so happy about it.
All and all it was a chilly wet day with no ride and no picture taking. Instead I got a few hours of interaction with loved ones.

Wonderful you had a good Sunday!
