Day 111

Very dramatic weather day.

 

It's 8 at night and the sky is several tones of dark grey.  The moon is probably directly above me hidden by the end of the storm.  What a day of weather chaos?  

Had lunch with David today.  We sat inside for the first time in over a year.  We are both fully vaccinated and we swore it was going to pour.  It did not and it did not on the ride home.  

About 4 I went to the rookery.

Those clouds scared me so I went on home.  This is what greeted me.  I stayed in the car until the hail was done.

At sunset I couldn't figure out whether it was worth searching for color or calling it a day.  The weather map says the storm is done over us, but I still hear some rumbling, and there are clouds out there.  The temperature at 5 was 61, now it is 41.  I hope tomorrow is calmer.
