Day 115

April 25, 2021

A year ago today the four big questions in my journal were: How to be creative in a pandemic?, How to get out and move in solitude?, How to keep muscles from locking up and How keep yourself present?  Did I learn the answers to these questions?

I didn't get done what I wanted to get done and I did not go for a ride.  I tried to do some writing, but my day was kind of bland.  

I did go to the rookery.

It was 56 degrees at 2:40, cloudy and calm.  

"I want to see a moose.  The water is so still today that you can see there is life under it.  There are fish in there.  I think this the the most boring time to visit the rookery especially on a still day. 9 nests hunkered down, one bird just returned to nest #2. Another bird flew to nest 6 and relieved his partner who left.  I think I hear an owl."

Went to work at The Lava Center.  An origami artists is showing with me for May and June.  It's very beautiful.
