Day 93

We need to do a new photo shoot.

Got up early this morning and  headed for the rookery.  I didn't get to go yesterday, so I missed it.  The herons had removed the old nest #4 entirely and built nest A under nest  2.  There are birds sitting on eggs in Nest 2 and Nest 6.  

There were a lot of small birds around.  The titmouse dominated the airwaves and the swallows dominated the visual field.  A lot of geese activity and a lot of heron activity.  Saw goldfinch and a few other small birds I need to identify.  The lack of red winged bb was conspicuous. 

And a muskrat swam around, but sun bathed in front of me for quite awhile until a heron flew by us and landed close.  Then a truck full of hay barreled down the road and scared everyone away.  

I spent an hour there writing.  The temperature went from 39 to 46 while I was there and the sun was beautiful.

Later, my pal came to meet Argyros and Chryses and we decided we need a Greek sculpture for the tank and a plant.  

I love taking pictures of this person.  We decided  TAB commercials would be fun especially with the new pink mohawk.  They didn't know about Peter's sending me the carton of Tab.  They'd never tried it before and my addiction was long since gone when they were born.  They liked it.  I didn't let them take the rest.  LOL
