Day 94
April 4, 2o21
Once again they downloaded backwards

I actually caught the sunset tonight.  Not very fiery, but sweet.

Shadows were interesting and a single turkey started running down the road towards us, but when she realized we were there she turned around and ran in the other directions.  She was alone.

I went to the rookery around 1 and it was almost 60.  Sunny and quiet and meditative.  I saw heron, common merganser, wood duck hooded  merganser, Canada geese, harrier, another hawk, black vulture and swallow.  I heard a hairy woodpecker, red winged bb, raven, and I think a piliated, too.
The goats are very pregnant.  I don't know when they are due, but there was one that looked awfully close and like there are twins.  They were very attentive today, very alert and happy to greet me.

There was activity amongst the heron, although 1 to 2 isn't a terrific time for watching them move around a lot, But a few did.

Nest 2 has definitely got an egg sitter in it and I think nest 6, too.

The mergansers were very active though.  I want to get in the back by Sherry's property and see all the ducks.  I'm sure they are there.
It was a good weekend and now I will need to get serious about doing the final touches on the show.  3 more weeks.  People are excited about it, which I am happy about.  Can't wait.
