Tree Ballet 

May 21st, it all feels like it is going way too fast.  The herons have been back for over 60 days so many of them have babies in their nests.  It's impossible to count them so far.  One minute I think a nest is empty and the next thing I know there is a head popping up.

Watched most of the sunset at the canal tonight.  There were 2 swans, a few mallards and a group of geese with babies. There were more swans in the cove, but that's about all I saw there.

I heard so many songbirds today and saw maybe half of them  Made me crazy.

I love how the geese all hang out together with their babies.  The ducks should get better at that.  They'd be better protected.

I made it up to Poet's Seat at the very end of sunset and the clouds covered everything up before the sun went all the way down.  

Now I'm going to sleep.
