Day 123

First Monday of the month.

It was a gentle day.  It was 74 at the rookery at 2 and over cast.  I sat and wrote for an hour.  No real action and the red winged bbs dominated both visually and auditorily .  According to the bird ap there was a bittern and an osprey near me.  But I never saw either one. 

However, the kingfisher is back.  This maybe an off spring, it doesn't look as big as last summer's. 

Tomorrow I will tell you all about my new job, but for tonight I am nursing a headache.  I love this view though.

It is Pete Seeger's birthday.  I hope we all come together to sing in celebration of him soon.
