Day 125

Rainy Day and more work than riding. 

Beautiful rainy day in the rookery.  3 o'clock and 54 degrees and raining.  There were zillions of birds flying close to me.  There were phoebes, barn swallows, tree swallows, black birds, raven, and red winged black birds.  There were heron staying dry up in their nests.

There were gun shots.  Have no idea where they were coming from.  Saw no ducks or geese or muskrats or otters.  I heard no dogs today.  I heard rain and small birds chattering away and swooping here and there and everywhere.  

And I worked.

No other news for today.  The goats weren't even outdoors.  The cows were, but they like it out there.
