Day 145 and Day 146
May 25 and May 26   2021
Very good ride yesterday, but the computer melted down.  So here are a few from yesterday's ride including a red bellied woodpecker and an almost full moon.

and on the 26th at 90 degrees, getting ready for my poetry reading a storm rumbled through town and gave us a momentary rainbow.

Earlier at the rookery at 89 degrees, it was hot and babies were sitting up tall.

I thought that top nest had been deserted but today I caught sight of at least one baby.  I think there are 5 in this photo.

I also caught another nest in a few pictures today..  It is not a heron nest.  It's more of a bowl.  I'll google nests and see if I can find which bird belongs to it.

People came out for my reading.  It was a sweet evening and it felt complete to me.  I think that the photos and poems are a nice book.  It would be nice to see it in print.

Gerard taking photos of a flag in the storm on the corner of Federal and Main.  He really is my teacher when it comes to photography. I so appreciated my friends coming out tonight in the storm to listen.  Thank you everyone.
