Day 155
June 4, 2021
Tomorrow is a big day in Greenfield
Congrats all you graduates.

The weather was bizarre all day long.  It was humid and threatening, but I don't think we got a drop of rain.  The clouds at the rookery were from a movie set.  The birds were making a lot of noise, but not really showing themselves.  No one really knew what to do.

I tried hard to count babies today.  I counted 11.  I have no idea how accurate an account that is.  I still think the ones in nest 9 look like ducks.  It'll be pretty funny if wood ducks fledge from under that heron.

There was a lot of greenery and several different wild flowers.  This dandelion was holding its geometric shape in the breeze, but the locust trees had let go of their seeds.

I took a slow ride today and saw lots of smalls animals and no horses and no birds of prey.  The storm was affecting the animal world.

On the windy road a mom and her 2 brand new babies were crossing.  Both the truck coming in the opposite direction and I stopped and let them figure it out, They were wobbly and unsure.

Sunset was not inspiring, but it did cool off a little so sleeping will be fine tonight.  I should put the AC in the window first thing in the morning.  I hate the heat.  Oh well.
