Day 157

First born

It was a different type of a day.  Not only was it 94 degrees, but it was slow.  I did alright.  I went to the rookery after a late lunch with EJ and Di and watched the birds begin to stretch.  It was almost 3 by the time I got there and I found some shade to sit and watch them;  There were not a lot of others around, just a few red winged bb.  Quiet and lovely..

And a new goat was born to the farm.  Very sweet, very active.

For the first time in a while Amie and I got a chance to go search out the sunset.  What we found was rainbows in the clouds outside the ice cream place.  It wasn't too humid, either.  Very pleasant.
