Happy Birthday, Ember.

At the rookery by 8:30 this morning.  By 9 it was 66 degrees and gorgeous.  I saw 3 different duck families this morning.  Not sure what kind of ducks they were.   I'm pretty sure none of them were wood ducks.  

There are a lot of new wildflowers popping up and the small birds were feeding on them.  I haven't seen a lot of birds when I'm up there at noon time, so I think I will start going early.  

Then of course there are the new goats.  They're up on the higher pasture, so I can't get good pictures.  I think I'll ask the farmer if she'll let me come up into the barn.

went to the Bookmill for lunch.  Perfect day.  And I got to have lunch with one of my favorite dogs, Ozzie.  He's become a young man, a gentle man.  He didn't even go after the chipmunks.
