Day 172
June 21, 2021
Summer Breeze makes me feel fine

I had a brain dead day.  I was thinking about starting a bird graph and forcing myself to focus on one thing again.  Going back to a more interactive life has busied my brain. I get really tired very quickly.   I love working with people, but I am so not use to it.  Therefore, periodically I am brain dead.

It was hot up at the rookery, but there was a beautiful summer breeze.  We didn't get any of the storms, but we've been getting wind since late afternoon.

You can tell the babies are getting big, more adults are hanging out at the edge of the water.  It was 88, and there were few birds.  Actually the mourning doves were dominating today.   I think most of them were hidden in shrubbery and trees, staying out of the sun while the humidity steadily increased.

I do find the swing a subtle statement.  Sam mowed the lawn for the first time this year.  You couldn't even see the swing this morning.

And there was no sunset to speak of, but these clouds were popping up around 7 30.  It stayed humid, the wind blew in gusts,  the sky got darker and the moon shined through.  Temperature will come down for a couple of days again, thank goodness.
