Day of Rest.

Hot.  The world is hot today, or at least my world is hot today.  93 at 4:30.  It's still over 80. I went to the rookery before 10  so it wouldn't be too hot.  It was, but I hung out for a half hour in the shade.  

I then drove up and around the hill and my only siting was Mr porcupine.  Look at those quills.  What a life he has, he certainly is well armored. 

I want to do a book on fences.  I suppose I should do my book on herons first.  Can I do a 6 by 6 of the herons, maybe 60 pages?  

So I have 3 days of an extreme heat wave in front of me with a broken ac in my car.  I think I have to fix it first, because if I don't I will be stuck in front of fans in this house until Wednesday.  

This is a sign of post pandemic.  Why do I think I am being gullible?  I need to be more careful.  I need to leave this in the car not on the sofa.  I got to the Coop today and realized I did not have a mask on and I did not have one in the car.
