Day 181
June 30, 2021
Happy Birthday, big brother!!!

That was a hot day, it was 99 degrees at 2:30.  It was 93 percent humidity and then it was 81 and then 77 but the humidity didn't budge and storm finally pulled in and out and in and out, and the sirens zoomed down Main St.  Rainbow didn't show near me.

I went up to the rookery befor 9 today.  Nests 3 and 5 were all full again.  I think they knew the weather was bad.  Both adults and fledglings were there.

All along my ride there were birds, dragonflies and butterflies as the humidity turned the world to mush.  It was so uncomfortable.  I was grouchy by 10.

The Deerfield looked drained.  We definitely needed the rain.  Everything was drooping.
By 3 clouds were pouring in from all directions and the wind began to pick up a little.

By 5 the storms were pushing through.  I had started work so I couldn't chase rainbows, but others saw them.

Lava Center was full of good workshops tonight and because of the weather our attendance fell back down.  But our staff got to experience some good activities. My show is done.  It'll be off the walls by 10 a.m.  I'd love to hang it somewhere else.  It's really a good show.

JuPong's installation came down tonight, too.  I'll go through my photos of it and make a collage.  It was beautiful.

And the NoNo Project performed, I'm sorry you were not there to hear them. Look up their website and try to catch them.
