a summer of weather extremes

there is no denying it

I mean it about extremes, Wednesday's high was 99 and today's was 63.  It is the 2nd of JULY.  Yes, extremes.  And extremes in terms of the amount of water that has fallen from the sky.

And this is occurring just as my sun roof has decided to spring a leak.  So I took a short ride in the heavy rain and got wet in my seat.  Welcome to a new problem.  My brain was so mushy I couldn't decide which problem to address first.  I hope I temporarily stopped rain from getting in my car.  

I also went to an art opening at Greenfield Gallery.  It felt good to get out into public and catch up with projects I was cut off from a year ago March.

Mainly I felt dampness today and tried my best to get some Lava work done.

Tomorrow is Sat.  It's supposed to be just like today.  Thank God I will be in the Center for a good part of the day.  I'll stay dry in there.
