Can you see the shadow of the Viking ship headed for the Ct.?

No turtles on turtle log today.  Tropical Storm Elsa brought us a deluge today and it poured.  I got up from my nap at 4 and it was sunny out.  I went up to the rookery to take some photos in interesting light and forgot to put a battery in the camera.  It forced me to sit and watch and write.  

There were several duck groupings of various size and shapes. There were 5 ducks with white heads and brown bodies.  I tried to identify them with my phone, but the only duck that it looked like is only seen in the Old World, mainly on the Mediterranean, so that's not it. 

Went to dinner with Diane and felt like a normal person tonight.  The clouds were marvelous.  We left the Voo in time for me to catch the sunset in several places.  The cove was filled with birds.  Actually everywhere was filled with birds.  I think they were all coming out and feeding and getting exercise between rainstorms.  Tons of them all over the place.  

A skunk ran past us at the Graveyard just at the end of sunset.  Cute and so bright and shiny.  Made us smile.
