I actually think these may be good writing prompts.

The best thing that happened to me today was my brother's grandchild, who I adore, had 3 pieces of art included in an on line gallery show.

I will post the link soon.  

I did not get a ride in, just a fast leap up to the rookery in the rain.  It was impossible to tell how many birds were there because many of them were hunkered down.  I think it is gorgeous in the rain, but I need some sun soon.

    

A year ago today it was sunny.  I don't think we are supposed to see the sun until maybe Thursday.  Climate change is a reality.
