Day 224
August 12, 2021
I'm missing the rainbow, I just know it.

What a day.  It was a day of picture taking and riding around because I needed the air on me.   It was 96 degrees at 5.

I think there are birds hidden in almost all of these photos.  With the exception of the swallow on the telephone lines, the birds were hiding from the sun.  So was I.

This heron was in the horses' field.  He was there for a long time.  There is a small water hole near, but the color of the water was awful.  I didn't see any horses though.  They must have been hiding in a barn somewhere.

Storm blew through between 5:45 and 7.  The temperature went from 95 to 75 in that hour or so.  We didn't get it as bad as other towns around us.  About 7:30 I knew there had to be rainbows.  By the time I got to the graveyards the rainbow was too pale to pick up.

The sky was lovely though and interesting colors kept rolling in with mists and clouds and lights.
