Wall of Mesa Verde

No real ride today.  I went up to the rookery at 5:30 it was 79 and quiet, no birds at all for most of the hour I was there.  i heard a flicker, but I saw nothing but of few dragonflies and mosquitoes. 

I wrote for a while and  watched the moon rise on the blue sky.  The moon is visible to us today for 9 hours and 19 minutes.  You could almost watch it move. 

Can you smell the fields?

Watched the sunset at Poets Seat.  It wasn't as glorious as it was last night, but it got pretty by the end, but again, too many mosquitoes.
