Day 229
A short ride around the rookery and hills, it was cloudy and mild and these small storms came in and out, or I went in and out of them.
This herd of cattle are mainly boys, but a couple of them are still nursing so a few Moms are in the field, too.
And the leaves really are beginning to turn in the rookery.
The kingfisher seems bigger to me. I still haven't researched their life cycles, but I thing their young must be fledging now. I heard no other bird sounds while I wrote today.
The wildflowers are peaking, all of the oranges and purples are about to go and the fields are now covered in Queen Anne's Lace.
It was Third Tuesday open mic tonight. I felt good about what I read. I'm glad I made the effort even though I have been feeling ill the last two days, I need to get some projects of mine out there and reading in public helps that process.
