Day 230

Hot and sticky.  We didn't hit 90, but yuck.

A year ago my journal was full of heron action, the majority of the nests were fledging.  There was no action up there this year.

Also, what determines the water level other than rain.  I swear it is really different every day.

There were plenty of bees today and the wildflowers were just stunning in the milky air.

No horses in the top fields and no heron there either.  Didn't see any hawks today.  Very dull small ride.

Went to work this afternoon where there was a sweet free concert that 14 people showed up to.  Need to find ways to get people in the door.  It was very good.  

And we are back to masking.

Weather really was  funky and there are three potential tropical storm maybe hurricanes heading our way.  The moon peeked out of the clouds just as I left town.
