Day 237
August 25, 2021
Presentation at work tonight
Let this be the last heat wave until July 2022, please. The rookery was 88 today at noon time. Temperature did go into the 90s. The humidity did increase. I did hear birds today, I saw goldfinch and doves, but I heard others. I did not see ducks at high noon, which makes sense. And there was no livestock on the ride.
The view out to the Berkshires was not clear. One more day of this and then we get more rain. I hope by next week we have 70s and sunny. I loved tonight's presentation. It was such a clear wonderful example of what happens when people are all on the same page and passionate about a goal. I loved hearing about it. It reminded me of early Literacy Project days and how much fun it was even though it was really hard work. It's why I'm a part of Lava Center. It's rewarding in a special way.
