Day 243
August 31, 2021
All around the mulberry tree

I really did want to start a narrative today about seeing through the veil, but instead I started writing about pomegranates .  I don't know what made me think about them, but when I went to the rookery to write that is what I wrote about.

It got warm today but it was breezy and the humidity was low so it was a very tolerable day.  I lay in my room and read for an hour and it was like being on vacation.

Then I went for a little ride and just appreciated it.  Fall has tripped into our very hot summer.  I am not sorry to see it go.  I hate hot sticky weather.

.I sliced up a peach and some brie and turkey and brought it to Poets Seat.  Gregg and I blabbed and eventually the world turned red.

With the exception of dreadful bugs, it was perfect up there with just enough breeze to make it all more than tolerable.  As awful as I feel the world is at the moment, I still see it as beautiful.
