Day 249
September 6, 2021
Happy Labor Day

I saw a lot of bird of prey today.  I didn't identify them all, yet.  But I know the adolescent eagle was around and I recorded a green heron, a blue heron and turkey.

The big birds flew through the rookery.  It was 5:30 and when they left a couple of flocks of small migratory birds went through.  I think one of them was cedar waxwings.  Then the crows arrived.  The temperature had dropped considerably by then, too, and all the humidity was brushed aside.

Went over to Edite's for some supper and she was making these food sculptures for the birds and animals.  So sunflower designs by Edite, photos by Lindy.

I love the wreath.  I was going to steal it, but that's not nice to do to your friends.
