A very merry unbirthday to you, to me?

It was kind of a minimalist parade today.  I felt like I was sitting right under the one cloud that kept raining.  We were pretty wet by the end of the show.  Vanessa and I thought we would be in prime location, but as it turned out not a lot of people chose to sit in our space at all.  

Very few places chose to march.  Most of the non profits were not out and only Greenfield High School band was present.  Of course its the bands who I go to see.

Some skateboarders faced the rain.  The Mayor came out. There were fire engines and Des collected lots of candy.

But the things that draw me to this event were not present.  Sad.

The theme was The Bees Knees, continuing on with the bee focus.  There were some cute bees out, and some great umbrellas, and people handing out sunflowers, that was nice.

And my favorite bee of all.
