Day 261
September 18, 2021
I've been photographing Bre in parades since she was 3

Today was the Pride Parade. It was smaller than the last year it happened, but the younger generation was there in force.  They looked great.  GCC was a strong presence, .too.

We watched from Lava.
Later I went up to the rookery where the clouds and sun were playing a game of tag.  There were patches of wet road, but I saw no rain.

Plenty of livestock out in the fields, but no big birds.

And just as I came around a corner there was the rainbow arc for real, bright and dominant and happy.  I stopped the car and got out to photograph it all.  This was about an hour before sunset.

Sunset was glorious, but I didn't want to leave the comfort of my glorious porch and my friends.  How nice to have a home cooked dinner with good friends.
