Floating In Grief

and commerce lessons.

My day started at work.  I played welcomer and sat outside on this wonderful morning.  I watched the process of art lessons happening on the street.  soccer and art lesssons

Went up to the rookery around 5.  It was 73, but the sun was dipping down already.  My surprise bird today was a heron.  One came and said hello.  I haven't seen one in the rookery in a really long time.

I heard woodpeckers and saw one in the graveyard.  There actually was a lot of activity there today.  I ate some late lunch there and watched squirrels and birds and all sorts of little animals. 

The colors remind me of large groups of turkey and I was not disappointed.  There were at least 20 of them up on the hillside.

There were 20 goats in the farmyard, too.  

The colors are burning before they are turning.  

It was a beautiful day and many people on the streets and a good turn out at Lava.  But it is a better night for getting under the down and reading Louise Penny.
