Day 276
October 3, 2021
Ride through the woods
It was a rainy day, grey and not cold, but not warm either. We ate soup on the porch. Does make me happy.
I drove to Warwick and then went back to the rookery. Only had the 300 on me, but I got a couple shots.
I saw a lot of birds today driving through the county. I saw a yellow warbler at Heron Pond. Pileated woodpecker up in the trees at the rookery. Below him a male wood duck was swimming and several younger ones. The cormorant flew by me and I saw an adolescent male cardinal.
And then hanging out at Sherry's I spotted the neighborhood flamingo, think he was interested in the pumpkins.
The lost tomatoes were found just as they were beginning to compost. I think the animals will enjoy them
