Day 280
October 7, 2021
Trying to lure them away.

I learned how to get up and go to the rookery because COVID took away a very long ritual of going to the Y in the morning.  That change not only removed my exercise, but a faithful community.  I would leave the Y and meet the gang for lunch at the Coop which allowed me interaction with a second community and healthy food.

But the curtain cane down and I had to find something to do to maintain my sanity, thus. the heron project was born
Covid is still here, but I have to get back in the pool.  It's a matter of survival at this point.  This morning I went to sign up at the Y and I went to the rookery, too.

Spectacular this morning, really, it was.  I didn't see many of the birds, but they were all around me and I could identify them.  Kingfisher is still around and the woodpeckers are retaking territory.

Met Charmae for tea.  She placed apple all around us so the bees left us alone, however, it drew many more.

And work was interesting tonight.  Any of you who are close to Greenfield really should come out for some Climate Change Theater.  It's really interesting and engaging and worth the trip to town.   Next one is Saturday and they'll continue during gallery hours Saturday and Thursday for 5 more weeks.
