A quiet Sunday

It really has been a very quiet Sunday.  I got some work done early on and then I went for a noon time ride.  Went to the rookery where it was 61 and very cloudy, although the sun was trying.  The pond was filled with ducks and geese.  The Canada geese are back for the winter.  Is that possible?

And the black cattle and horses were all over the very green pastures against muted autumn colors trying to peak.

We are not two weeks early this fall as we were last year.  

I saw a lot of little birds today.  It was a gentle day for them, as well.

And I went for a short barefoot walk in the backyard.  My backyard is fascinating.  There were a lot of insects in the grasses and asters.. Don't worry I checked for ticks.

Lots of stuff was in the shape of hearts.  The colors are all kind of burnt and I really wish I had a new sweater made out of these colors.

This week was disjointed.  I felt not grounded.  This week I want to be more grounded and concrete.  Here's hoping.
