Grant writing, corn beef and sunsets
Once again backward photos, you get to experience my day in reverse.
The foliage color and the sunset colors were at odds with each other tonight. There was that candy colored pink and pumpkin rich orange.
It was a beautiful day. I only got a short ride in. I focused in on what to write my grant on and at least got the concept down before the computer crashed and my head started to pound.

I love having co workers to laugh with.
I found that poem today written for a friend in 2009. Spoke to me not because I am losing a friend, but because the veil feels so thin and those people so close.
The gull and
loon graze
on mollusk
and barnacle
feeding
their hearts.
I know you
are
slipping
towards them
spreading
your wings.
Quietly
leave earth.
Slide
gracefully into heaven
hurting no
more
