Day 323
November 19, 2021
My biggest fan and support has his birthday today.  Happiest birthday, Paul.

My mother was 9 years younger than her sister.  Lois married Paul Barnes when Mom was a teen.  She had a wicked crush on him  His name made her smile.  He was a sweetheart.  She named her second son after him and my Dad, Paul Sherrill.  He made her smile a lot, too, and his name has been passed down by many. He too is a sweetheart.
Peak Thanksgiving cactus time.  Sorry they are blurry, good old phone camera, if ever I can afford a new phone I will get a better camera too.

Small ride today.  Rookery had some changes.  Nest 8 and 9 are both gone and the tree that held 9 for the past two years broke off from high, tumbling the nest to the ground.

There are several muskrat lodges that are now visible because the reeds have died down and the water level has increased.

I love trains
I love freight trains.

I wanted to capture the rising moon over the razed fire station, but as you can see clouds dominated the horizon and I did not get to see the moon rise.

I didn't see it last night either.

Tell me about this cloud.  Is it raining on  Poets Seat? Doesn't it look like a blast of some sort?  Welcome to a new season.
