Day 328
November 24, 2021
a thin layer of ice on the rookery
An odd time to spot new growth, just before snow forecasts Two minutes later this red tailed lands in front of me. I stop and say hello.
Meanwhile uptown there has been a snowy owl rescue. Exciting and the owl is going to be great.
At 4 today the rookery was beginning to hide, but I managed to see the final piece of sun shining on the hills reflecting in the water and the beginning of the formation of ice.

I want to share a Dina Stander poem with you all. I'm so excited by her work these days. It comforts me because it speaks so clearly to me.
Tonight I am going to find a few poems of others to read tomorrow.
