Happy Thanksgiving

Opie is Sarah's dog and best friend.  He has become a wonderful companion.  I loved being around him today and had this strong sense of gratitude for his being in her life.   

There was a lot to be grateful for today.   

First Thanksgiving in 2 years that we have gathered at least a few of us.  

You all have met Billie, they are the most read post in this blog.  They are living in Brooklyn now.  It was so great to see them.    

We had good weather and easy travel.  Ember drove.  You have no idea how many times I have driven to Ct. for Thanksgiving.  It felt so good to be picked up and brought.

Karen and Ember are due in 4 weeks  Karen is in such good shape and it's so much fun to see them both smile so much.  I love you guys.

I'm really pleased we went down and I am so grateful to Sarah and Molly for cooking this wonderful dinner, it really is one of my favorites.   So superb and such sweet good relatives I have.  

Dinner was really good.  The turkey was perfect.  Made me very happy. I think I should cook a turkey dinner for all my friends who live alone.
