Let's do this again

What makes you feel deep happiness?

 

Immediately I am at the sea

on top of Sir Francis Drake Bay

a kite in my hand

An 89 year old, Lois, pulling on

the string in the wind

One hand yanking faster than

I can wind it back

 

Lois, my aunt, my teacher

Pt. Reyes mist

leaving the area, wind

hard on my face.

Centered, satisfied, happy

in the core of life,

ocean, wind, a high flying kite

and the strong hands of family.

2022 begins foggy foggy.  I stayed alone all day and watched the fog.  I watched it at Green River and I watched a little at the college and from my bedroom window.  The new year has begun and I will do another year of photos and narrative and an occasional piece of oral history.  Welcome if you are just joining us, and welcome back to those who've been following my photos.


I have several projects going at once and have made a deal with myself that I will finish them instead of starting a new one, yet.  Must be a family thing.  Just keep the ideas flowing and don't finish anything.
