Day 10

A very very busy day

I have a legal car that works really well with tires that are meant for snow territory.  It feels safe.  So after it was all done at the mechanics I went for a ride for the first time in a while.  It wasn't long, just 20 minutes.  I drove through sunny, snowy and grey weather all within a 10 mile circle.  

I saw a billion grackles in two different spots; trees filled with them, blocking out light.  I'd entered The Birds.

When I got back home Denise came over with Chinese food and sat and visited.  I almost feel like an adult tonight.  I also had so many positive new things to report.  

I am excited about this new writing group that starts up on the 15th. I think that the regular writing with others does help the writing I am working on for Lava.  It's like oiling the machine.

I am grateful tonight, very grateful.
