Day 14

Wind is blowing very hard and cold.

There is a very large bird in the center of this photo.  I think it is a red tailed, however, it flew low.  It's not an eagle for sure, and there is the neighborhood red tailed that the rookery neighbors have been seeing recently.  I had the wrong lens with me today.  Truth is I need a case for lenses so that I can just have them with me all the time.  

There is nest 1, I thought maybe something was in it, but I was mistaken.  The world was kind of hazy today, it wasn't cloudy, but it wasn't clear either.  By the time I came down off the hill the wind had started to blow.  Now 5 hours later it is almost frightening.  My little house is safe, but it is loud out there.

At 4 the moon was rising in its usual place.  No big birds in any of my surrounding trees, and just one puffy pink cloud.
