The canal at sunset

 

Once again I have a malfunctioning computer that is driving me nuts. I missed the best light today because I waited a while to get my car inspected.  But it passed and that's what counts. 

There were at least 30 Common Mergansers in the canal and almost as many swan, several types of ducks, Canada geese, and gulls, a lot of gulls.  

The sun was a funky gold color. 

How many can you identify in this picture?  

The sky was filled with gulls when I first got there and geese were flying in and out of the canal.  

Once again they posted backwards, but it doesn't really matter tonight.  I have no wisdom or poetry or interesting rambling thoughts to add tonight.  I'm glad to be home and I wish I stayed a little longer.  And I can't wait to start the hard work on this play.  Very exciting time in my life.
