Day 6
January 6, 2022
Tomorrow is a snow day.  I think I can get a lot done

Contrasted with now

will be white and glisten;

tomorrow's blanket.

Shivering from roots

tall erect trees leafless, bird-less.

Muddy road winds through.

Clasped together as one

color runs from grey to chestnut

as the sun slides down.

Cracking and freezing

like the unfolded foil wrap

raw cold permeates.

35 and partly sunny in the rookery today.  There were no birds around today at all.  On Tuesday I saw so many, but today it was raw and only squirrels were gathering food.

The sunset never amounted to anything.  Whereas, when I woke for 3 minutes at sun rise the sky was cool-aid colored.

And tomorrow it will be snowing and wet.
I have to write an end report for ECHO.  I went to the graveyard to sit and think about how it influenced the project.  Again, I will advertise the website, www.Echogreenfield.org.

It was impossible to get a rapid test in Greenfield today.  There were none on the shelves.  I may have to take a break from people until I can test.
