Day 55
February 24, 2022
Love in a red hat.

I actually drove 78  miles today.  I picked EJ up so they could help me with the play.  They are my tech assistant.  Thank God, I have a tech assistant.

I worked with another actor revising script for a couple hours and drove EJ back home.  Then I went for a ride to take photos.  This bee hive was in Northfield sitting up in a tree wide open.

I saw a lot of large birds and a lot of large groups of birds.  I saw a Cooper Hawk and 2 Red tailed.  We saw a black vulture close up flying in a yard low down.  Looked alien.

There were 100s of geese in the cornfields by the Connecticut and a few dozen gulls nearby.  There were grackles and a tree full of robins.  I think everyone was preparing for the storm, just like they were doing in the supermarket.

I continued my ride up to the rookery, past the goats and up and around the loop.  At first everything was orange and then it was a burgundy.  Quite lovely.

Sunset was beginning as I got to the hill and looked back at the Berkshires.
