Day 60

20 days until Spring

A short ride and a time to write at the rookery is what I did today.  It was 24 degrees and cloudy.  There were military planes flying overhead for about an hour.  They were practicing maneuvers.  I am not impressed.  Violence and aggression will not work.  We know that, why are we falling for it all over again.  Don't we have enough PTSD and orphaned kids? 

But it was beautiful in its cloudy day way.  I'm not sure why there was as much open water as there was.  The birds that were flying around were mainly Juncos.  Are Juncos community birds?  Do they migrate in big groups?

I got to have lunch with Amie today.  That was a treat.  I really miss our every dayness.  I miss the local community lunch time.

Then I went to work on the play.  I so don't know what I'm doing and I am so enjoying learning from those who do.  It's really exciting.  

I'm going to bed really early tonight.  I'm exhausted and tomorrow is another long day.   We're going to see Lady Smith tomorrow tonight, inside, masks and proof of vacs.  Should be really fun.
