Day 75
March 16, 2022
A grand day of beauty

Definitely a good birding day in Turners.  I saw Mergansers and canvasback, tons of geese, some type of whitish goose that I didn't recognize, gulls, swans and who knows how many ducks.

And I got to the Canal at about 6 and the moon was up.  She took a slow journey upwards today and I followed her.  It was a sweet journey.

I went over to the bridge where she was above Riverside.  There were fishermen on the river today.  People were out on the bike path, kids were running a little.  Almost was normal and it was 61 degrees at 6:30 at night.

Sun was high enough for some interesting reflections.  And the colors were strong but subdued.

Looking up at Poets Seat from Beacon Field caused me to miss the actual sun set, but I was able to watch the slow rise and the change in background color.  Unfortunately, as usual I had the wrong lens on.

Visited with Cathy while taking pics.  She was already there and we like taking photos of the moon together.  Her lens was better suited.

Paul and Molly leave for Europe tomorrow.  I've asked Paul to send me a photo a day from the trip so I can do a Travel with Pauly section of the blog while they are away.  And I'll get to live vicariously.  So stay tuned for that.  (Travels with Charlie was one of our dad's favorite books.)

Rain tomorrow, but maybe some sap boiling witnessing?
