Day 85
March 26, 2022
Opening Day
What a ride.  Unbelievably good.

The props of the narrator

gathering before the second reading; they all did such a great job.  It was so good.  It made me so proud.

Before I had to be at Lava Center I went up to the rookery to calm down some.  There were two pairs of heron and at least a fifth one checking out another nest. When I got there it was sunny and sparkly but by the time I left it had clouded over.

There were a lot of ducks around and the mergansers were predominant  There were swallows, too.

I love this place; it reinforces my love for beauty.  So fascinating, and it allowed me to almost calm down enough for the opening.

photo by Paul, off the ship and into a B&B
Paul sent me this photo and I asked Ember to send me baby photos to bring me down to earth, too.  He sent me a bunch and it worked.  Eliza was smiling and s o was I.

What a day? What a day? Full of people I love.

This is Emily playing Nancy and singing her song.  The most miraculous part of this was how these women made these voices and stories come alive.  It was magic. Kinda like herons are magic.
