Day 103

Photo day only.  Very busy, but.

It was a very busy day today. So I spent an hour at the rookery between 4 and 5 and it was 74 degrees, lovely and still.  I do think that 2 herons are trying to build a new nest near nest 1.  There are birds in all 5 nests, but 2 birds are up in the tree near the nest and if you look carefully there seems to be the beginning of a new nest.  The male in nest 1 was being a little edgy, a little territorial with nest 4, as well.  

There are a lot of baby making activities happening out there. It is that time of year.
