Day 107
April 17, 2022
Happy Birthday, Donnie
New England Weather, what can I say?

I drove over 100 miles today in and out of snow, hail, sun and who knows what else.  EJ and I just drove and hung out.  Lovely afternoon, it was.  And there were a lot of birds.

My computer is still acting up.  I have to take a year's worth of photos off of the hard drive and make some memory space.

When it freezes up continually I don't want to write on it because I get so frustrated.    So tonight you'll just get photos of birds on a crazy weather day.

There were 18 herons in the rookery this morning.  They have built four new nests in the past 5 days.  I'm going to the UMASS library and researching heron.  Their behaviour fascinates me and I'm amazed at how little I"ve figured out about their habits.

I need to write a poem titled Swallows and Snowdrops.

Still waiting to hear back from Joni Mitchell's people for permission to use her songs so that I can finish the copyrighting of the play.  I need to buckle down and get some business taken care of this week.  My intent is to be business like this week.
